La Colonia Tovar, piece of Germany in Venezuela

Situated in the state of Aragua, Colonia Tovar was founded in 1843 by a group of immigrants from the then independent state of the Grand Duchy of Baden (later incorporated into Germany). It is characterized by the cultural imprint of its origin, so it is called "the Germany of the Caribbean". It's a really pretty place, and you feel like you're walking into a different country altogether! They grow a lot of strawberries, sell the best sausages in the country, and have a lot of interesting traditions! It is one of my favorite places to visit here.
