Sinterklaas is like Santa

Sinterklaas is something like Santa. Kids put their shoes infront of the fireplace or another place and sing Sinterklaas songs and then go to sleep. The next day they get a little present or pepernoten/kruidnoten (a kind of little biscuits) from Sinterklaas and his pieten. On 5th of december is Sinterklaas his birthday. The children then get a big sack of presents.
