Pitha utsob

"Pitha" are different types of palm sized food items made from rice. They are usually sweet.The main sources of this sweetness are date palm jaggery and coconut. "Pitha utsob" or Pitha festivals usually coinside with the rice harvest in winter and pitha made from new rice are considered the tastiest.
